Moonkin Guide: Stats(part2)
Ok, So your Hit Capped, Whats next??
SpellPower SpellPower SpellPower
Spellpower is the next most vauble stat and should be stacked and there is no limit to how much.
For anyone interested in Co-efficient of spell power the following link is for you
Spellpower coefficient
So your stacking spellpower, what else should you be looking for...
Haste/Crit
The next two important stats, haste and crit generally need to be stacked at a similar rate, altho getting to the haste soft cap is a good thing, so many stack haste a bit more than crit.
Haste Soft Cap
Yes, there is a Haste cap for moonkin, but it is a soft cap.
The Global Cooldown (GCD) starts at 1.5 seconds, but has a minimum value of 1 second. The cast time of any spell can technically go below this level, but you can't cast a spell while in the GCD so the affective minimum cast time is 1 second.
Assuming that you have;
Celestial Focus (3%)
Improved Moonkin Aura (3%)
Wrath of Air (5%)
Natures Grace (20%)
Then you only need 12.21% haste from gear to reach the cap.
As 32.79 Haste rating gives 1% haste
Haste cap= (12.21*32.79)
12.21*32.79 = 400.3659
Therefore the Haste Cap for Wrath is 400 Haste Rating.
this doesnt mean you should stop at 400 haste contining to get haste is still a bonus.
Crit rating
A critical strike deals 150% damage base, 200% with talents, therefore it is important to critical as offen as possiable to increase damage output criticals are also very important for eclipse to Proc quickly and as offten as possiable.
At Lvl80, 45.91 Critrating = 1% crit chance
Other Stats
The other key Stats which should be added but are not needed as much are;
but it all varies from 1 moonkin to another which of these 3 needed most but stacking all 3 abit helps.
SpellPower SpellPower SpellPower

Moonkin Guide: Stats(part1)
Stats
The simplist thing for a moonkin to follow yet a few get wrong, this is also Stats Priority.
When Leveling up to Wrath this shouldnt needed to be followed to the letter. This is mainly for those Gearing in Wrath and Raiding, too maximize dps whenever, wherever.
Hit Cap
Being Hit capped is the first thing anybody should be getting and is pretty easy with the right talents, buffs, gear.
A Heroic Boss/Raid boss is always +3 Levels higher than a player, Therefore lvl83.
Base hit for a Lvl80 is 83%
So needing 17% to reach the cap.
At Lvl80, 1% of Hit = 26.23Hit rating.
Hit From Talents
Balance of Power This is the most important talent for a moonkin that is not hit capped (See moonkin guide: Spec coming soon) Each Point in Balance of power gives +2% chance to hit, making a total of +4% with both points.
Improved Faerie Fire This is also a very important talent for Moonkins that are not Capped, altho is an have a small disadvantage, because this talent gives an improved version of Faerie Fire which debuffs the ememy giving you 3% hit when attacking a debuffed target, but for this to work it is down the to player to cast this spell on the ememy, but if the person remembers to cast it does last 5mins which is the longest as most fights would last.
Hit From Other Players
Heroic Presence This is a buff given when Grouped with a Draenei and Gives 1% chance to hit to all within 30Yards
Hit From Food
Food can be eaten to give hit chance (Snapper extreme), altho i personally wouldnt recommend it becuase other food buffs give better, fish feast being the best.
Hit form gear
That Leaves the rest of the Hit needing to come from gear because different specs/groups etc... this would mean that each moonkin need a different amount of hit rating depending on talent/buffs/groups. So for Ease i have made a Very Simple Easy to follow table for how much hit rating you would need.
| Talents and Buffs | Hit Chance Gained | Hit Rating Required to Cap (rounded to up) |
| No talents/buffs | 0% | 446 |
| Heroic Presence | 1% | 420 |
| Balance of Power(rank1) | 2% | 394 |
| Heroic Presence/Balance of power (rank1) or Just Improved Faerie Fire | 3% | 368 |
| Balance of Power (rank2) or Improved Faerie fire/Heroic Presence | 4% | 341 |
| Heroic Presence/Balance of Power (rank2) | 5% | 315 |
| Balance of Power (rank2)/Improved Faerie Fire | 7% | 263 |
| All Talents and Buffs | 8% | 237 |

Thats The UI I Play..
Well got to hand it to blizzard for giving us the very basic UI, good for the casual gamer but most what more and comtomising your UI is the way to go. This Week i been customising by UI again. i was previously using the following :
It had all i needed but was messy and in a raid i pretty much couldnt see what was happening, after a few hours playing around i finally ended with this
Is a lot cleaner and easier to use, and works well in larger groups and raids, without the FPS drop.
Add-Ons i use;
